About the client:

Our client is a respected Queensland-based law firm with a strong presence across the state. With offices in Brisbane and Toowoomba, they are renowned for their commitment to legal excellence and delivering tailored legal solutions across a wide spectrum of practice areas. About the position:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Commercial & Property Lawyer to join their team at either their Brisbane or Toowoomba office. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner with 5 years of PAE, looking to take the next step in their legal career within a firm that values leadership and initiative.

You will handle a diverse range of commercial and property matters, including:
  • Commercial transactions and business sales
  • Leasing (retail, commercial, and industrial)
  • Property development and subdivisions
  • Contract drafting, review and negotiation
  • General commercial advisory work for SMEs and high-net-worth clients
You will be trusted to manage your own client relationships and files, with support available from senior colleagues and junior lawyers where required.

Key Requirements:
  • At least 5 years PAE in commercial and property law (Private practice preferred)
  • Ability to manage complex files autonomously and achieve billable target
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with a pragmatic legal approach
  • Experience mentoring junior lawyers (advantageous)
