The Role

The Risk Advisory Team provides compliance and risk management advice to support the business to make risk aware and compliant decisions in pursuit of St Lukes strategic goals and objectives. We focus on "how we can" not "what we can't".  Reporting to the Head of Risk and Resilience and working closely with all members of the Risk Advisory Team, this role will focus on assisting with the delivery of the St Lukes risk management and compliance strategies across all areas of the business.

The focus of this role is to be an engaged member of the Risk Advisory team and actively contribute to the team's delivery of its risk and compliance program of works, with the support and supervision of the Risk Advisory Lead and the Head of Risk & Resilience.  While the work this role performs will be varied and will depend on the focus area of the team at that time, the type of activities that this role will perform will include:

  • Assisting in performing the requirements of the risk and compliance frameworks, which include performing compliance monitoring, and performing risk controls monitoring.
  • Assisting with the administration and maintenance of electronic registers.
  • Assist in the preparation of risk and compliance reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining procedures for the Risk Advisory Team.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in a compliance or risk management related role
  • Critical thinking and analytical skill set with sound research skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability with a commitment to excellent service and best practice
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a challenging and varied workload
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and able to take direction
  • Current drivers licence
