The role
We're looking for an Associate Account Manager to join our growing team. This is the perfect role for someone with a genuine curiosity about technology and a strong interest in building a career in sales.
You'll gain hands-on experience in IT Services and Technology Solutions while supporting senior sales professionals with lead generation, appointment setting, and client engagement. Along the way, you'll learn the full sales cycle, develop foundational skills, and create a clear pathway to more senior sales opportunities within efex.
What You'll Do
- Research and qualify potential leads, keeping our CRM up to date
- Support the sales team with outreach, appointment setting, and presentations
- Engage with new and existing clients to build strong, lasting relationships
- Learn the end-to-end sales process, supported by structured training and mentorship
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives and customer support
- Assist with reporting and admin to keep sales operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- 0 - 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or similar (cadetships or internships highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- A genuine interest in IT Services/Technology Solutions and eagerness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and Microsoft Office is a bonus
