About the Role
As Care Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day care operations of the facility. Working in close partnership with the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support clinical care staff to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, aged care standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and health professionals, ensuring care plans are personalised and effective.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in clinical practice and service delivery.
- Support ongoing staff education and training to maintain clinical competencies.
- Conduct audits and assessments to monitor resident wellbeing and drive quality improvements.
- Collaborate with the broader Respect network to share expertise and strengthen organisational outcomes.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership or management experience in aged care.
- In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, and compliance.
- Strong clinical, organisational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring staff.
- Proficiency with aged care software (e.g., AutumnCare, LeeCare, or similar).
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining resident-focused care.
