The Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove is a Tropical haven for Adults and Couples searching for Rest, Rejuvenation and Relaxation. All of our rooms are richly appointed with stylish, tropical-inspired interiors, evoking the elegance of a colonial beach house, we have a great team delivering the highest levels of guest service with exemplary attention to detail.

We are renowned for our personalised service in a truly relaxed setting offering tranquillity, ambience and boutique luxury. Our Guest comments are second to none and our Trip Advisor ratings speak for themselves.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled fulltime Assistant Executive Housekeeper to help deliver the highest levels of customer service, cleanliness and organisation to our Housekeeping Department. Our Colonial Style Beach House is currently undergoing a substantial face lift and we are looking for the right person to help elevate presentation and standards to the next level.

At the Reef House we value one's ability to be self-motivated, be energetic and have a strong understanding of the quality required to ensure we deliver on our commitment. The current Housekeeping team is fantastic with long tenure, love their roles and our customers. We have a great Executive Housekeeper and Supervisor in place ready to help. 

This role will allow you to flourish and grow within a team of like-minded dynamic professionals.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Improving presentation and cleanliness standards
  • Coach and nurture the great team already in place
  • Working as room attendant and in hotel laundry will be required as part of the role
  • Improve systems and procedures
  • Train and develop each day
  • Understand all Housekeeping KPI's and be able to report on them daily
  • Impress and WOW our customers so they feel like they are treated like a celebrity

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead by example
  • The drive to consistently deliver the very best
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar capacity
