In this role you'll be supporting renal patients through expert psychological care and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

• Delivering assessments and tailored interventions
• Leading quality improvement initiatives
• Designing and running group programmes
• Supporting clinical research and audits
• Advising clinicians and educating patients

Essential Criteria:

• Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
• Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist

Selection Criteria:

• Theoretical knowledge of palliative care and renal conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to provide psychological assessment and deliver evidence- based psychological treatment for individuals, groups and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes, identify and manage problems in relation to group dynamics and to promote and support team-based solutions.
• Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy
• Current driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
