Cook Wanted – Childcare Centre (50 Place Service)

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Cook to join our team at our 50-place childcare centre. If you're passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals for children and enjoy working in a warm, community-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you

About the Role:

  • Plan and prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks
  • Develop and update menus that meet children's dietary, allergy, and cultural requirements.
  • Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety standards in line with current regulations.
  • Order and manage food supplies efficiently, keeping within budget and minimising waste.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and families to support children's wellbeing and nutrition.

About You:

  • Previous experience cooking in a childcare, school, or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of nutrition, portion control, and allergy management.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene certificates (current).
  • Ability to plan menus and order supplies confidently and independently.
  • Friendly, organised, and passionate about children's health and wellbeing.
  • Current working with Children's check
  • Current RRHAN training
