We're searching for a true coffee professional to lead the way behind the bar and at the roaster, someone who lives and breathes specialty coffee and knows how to share that passion with team members and guests alike.

We're looking for an experienced Head Barista & with some roasting experience who's confident in their skills and excited to contribute to Rosso's ongoing reputation for quality and innovation. You'll be an joint leader for our brand—dialling in shots, roasting along side our roaster with precision, hosting cuppings, mentoring baristas, and elevating the experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

You should have:

  • Proven experience as a senior or head barista in a specialty coffee environment
  • Hands-on roasting experience (commercially or as part of a micro-roastery team)
  • Strong sensory and cupping skills—able to articulate flavour and quality clearly
  • A confident, engaging presence and ability to communicate coffee knowledge with enthusiasm
  • Comfort training baristas and leading by example on bar
  • A genuine love for the craft—from green bean to perfect pour

Bonus if you also:

  • Have experience running public cuppings or events
  • Understand profile development and QC processes
  • Bring fresh ideas to elevate both our coffee program and customer journey
