From business conferences and weddings to luxury celebrations and private events, you'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to bring world-class events to life on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef.

- Plan, coordinate and execute a wide range of events across island venues
- Act as the key liaison for clients, ensuring seamless communication from first contact to final sign-off
- Prepare event documentation including itineraries, event orders, and function run sheets
- Oversee on-site setup and delivery of events, ensuring every detail meets client expectations
- Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution
- Manage group accounts including invoicing, deposits, and final settlements
- Conduct site inspections, pre-event briefings, and post-event debriefs to continuously improve processes
You're a motivated and organised events professional with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. Calm under pressure and always solution-focused, you're just as comfortable managing details behind the scenes as you are engaging confidently with clients.
To be successful, you'll need:- Diploma in Hospitality or Event Management (Essential)
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination or hospitality operations (Essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event/CRM systems (Essential)
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours to support events across the island
