We are looking for a Disability Support Worker that will provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and participation in daily life.

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.

  • Support mobility, including lifting, transferring, and using mobility aids.

  • Administer medications under supervision.

  • Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance.

  • Support clients with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

  • Accompany clients to appointments and community activities.

  • Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities.

  • Assist with developing independence and life skills.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Follow NDIS and workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines.

  • Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care.

  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams.

  • Follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.

  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical care practices.

  • Experience: Prior experience in disability, aged care, or community support is desirable

  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Compliance: Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, Covid 19 certificate, Infection Control Certificate, Assist Client with Medication Training Certificate, Car Registration, Comprehensive Car Insurance.

Have minimal 1 years experience.

Pay is based on the SCHADS award, relevant to your experience and the standard of care you are able to provide and dependent upon time of day/day of week.

Pay: $31.49 – $56.89 per hour
