About the role

Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, this senior role leads the uplift and continuous improvement of IT Service Transition, Asset and Configuration, and Knowledge Management processes. You'll work closely with Technology Services, the PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless transition of services and optimal end-user outcomes.

Duties / What a day in the life is like...

  • Lead IT service transition for major transformation initiatives
  • Implement and improve ITIL-aligned processes
  • Manage service transition forums, plans, and artefacts
  • Oversee asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal
  • Maintain CMDB and knowledge management systems
  • Act as 2IC to the IT Service Desk Manager
  • Engage stakeholders across business and IT
  • Coach teams on configuration and knowledge systems
  • Participate in after-hours incident management roster

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years leading IT Service Transition processes
  • Proven experience with ITIL, CMDB, and asset/configuration management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience with cloud-hosted application services
  • ITIL Service Management Certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience delivering tech-based projects in complex environments
  • Strong admin, coordination, and reporting skills
  • Commitment to positive social outcomes and the companies values

Nice to have:
