Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Drafter located in Neutral Bay, 2089 NSW. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, modifying existing drawings, and ensuring all drawings meet industry and company standards.

As a Junior Drafter, you'll work alongside our experienced drafters and engineers to develop structural drawings and documentation. This role is perfect for someone starting their drafting career, someone who is open to learning, takes feedback on board, and applies it to continually improve.

Success in this role will come from a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to work as a team player, and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate structural drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Support engineers in delivering high-quality project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure coordinated designs.
  • Maintain drawing standards and assist with project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Basic experience with CAD software, including Revit, and technical drawing skills with knowledge of basic 3D modelling.
  • Basic understanding of structural engineering concepts
  • Attention to detail with good spatial awareness and strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Relevant experience in drafting or a related field is a plus
  • Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or a related discipline
