ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch's based in Canberra, NSW, 2600. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:00pm. In this role your key responsibilities would include:
- Booking in a range of assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system
- Assist other team members with their duties when required
- Locate, move (sometimes using a forklift), and record the movements of all assets
- Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner
- Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures
- The role will require travelling and working from multiple locations
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Current, valid manual driver's licence (essential)
- Current, valid forklift licence (desirable – successful candidate must be willing to obtain)
- Sound ability to use an iPad
- A strong commitment to safety
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
