Experteeth Dental Coonabarabran is expanding, and we are currently seeking a dental assistant and receptionist to join our busy team.

We are passionate and pride ourselves in delivering exceptional dental care to our patients. You will receive training to become a proficient dental assistant and receptionist, no previous experience is necessary.

Duties involved include (Dental Assisting):

· Chairside assisting

· Infection control and sterilisation

· Treatment coordinating and liaising with patients in a friendly manner

-Minor reception duties as required

Responsibilities include (Reception):

  • Providing warm and professional reception support to patients
  • Scheduling and managing appointments and patient flow
  • Processing payments
  • Performing sterilisation duties in line with current infection control standards
  • Preparing and maintaining clinical spaces and equipment
  • Supporting team members with general admin and operational tasks

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in dental, medical, or customer service/reception roles (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly and professional communication style
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols or willingness to be trained

Candidates must:

· Have a friendly personality

· Possess an excellent work ethic and initiative

· Display excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)

· Have basic proficiency with computers and word/excel

· Current drivers licence

· Previous DA experience is welcomed, but on-the-job training is possible for the right person.

· Be available to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM (Hours may vary according to clinic requirements but will be set out in a fortnightly roster)
