Senior Security Assessor – Cyber Advisors

Location: ACT, QLD or VIC
NV2 or TSPV clearance is needed for these positions
Join a high-impact team assessing and securing a cutting-edge TS Cloud platform. In this role, you will work closely with a collaborative ATO team to apply agile principles and tailored ISM methodologies to deliver high-assurance cloud security assessments. Engage with technical stakeholders, utilise automated tools where possible, and contribute to building a secure platform supporting critical national capabilities.

Key Duties

  • Conduct security assessments of TS Cloud components, CSP services, and adoption technologies.
  • Engage NIC, CSP authorities and stakeholders to gather insights and communicate assessment outcomes.
  • Apply ISM-aligned methodology including threat modelling, control effectiveness analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Produce assessment artefacts to support governance decisions and security authorisation.

Key Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering cyber security risk assessments for large, complex systems aligned to PSPF/ISM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player, responsive to direction, and committed to delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Relevant certifications such as IRAP, CISA, GSNA, or degrees in Cyber Security.
