We're expanding our Australian presence and looking for a Technical Support & Implementation Specialist to join our on-site team in Ringwood.


About the Role

You'll play a key role helping new and existing clients set up and use SMRT and Bubblepay systems with confidence.

This hands-on position involves software and hardware setup, troubleshooting, data conversion from other POS platforms, and direct client training.

It's a busy, on-site technical role where every day brings a new challenge — from resolving a hardware issue to migrating a full business from another POS.


Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot POS and app issues across Windows, Mac, iOS and Android
  • Support and configure hardware: computers, receipt printers, barcode scanners, card readers
  • Manage data conversion and migration from legacy POS systems into SMRT
  • Assist clients with software setup, updates, and mobile device configuration
  • Train clients on SMRT features, workflows, and best practices
  • Log and manage support tickets in Jira; document steps and escalate when required
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share client feedback and recurring issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in IT, POS, or technical support roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android platforms
  • Confident with Excel and spreadsheet data handling (CSV imports, data mapping, etc.)
  • Knowledge of POS systems and hardware peripherals
  • Familiarity with slcak, Jira, Twilio, and Google Workspace preferred
  • IT qualification or equivalent experience
  • Clear, patient communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset for data accuracy and troubleshooting
  • Customer-first attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
