About the Program

headspace Mount Druitt is part of Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention services to young people aged 12–25. Our multidisciplinary team delivers support across mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drugs, and work and study.

Uniting as the lead agency delivers community-based mental health services across NSW, supporting people through person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused care.

About the Role

We're seeking a passionate Clinical Educator to strengthen the capability and confidence of our mental health workforce across Uniting Recovery.

You'll design, deliver, and evaluate education programs that enhance recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice, build reflective capability, and support staff and students in delivering quality care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate clinical education, training, and supervision programs
  • Support workforce capability and promote a culture of continuous learning
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify professional development priorities
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and professional standards
  • Build partnerships with universities and placement providers to support student learning

About You

You're an experienced mental health professional and passionate educator who thrives on developing others. You bring clinical expertise, collaboration, and a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, OT or similar)
  • Eligibility for professional registration or membership
  • 5 years + experience  in Mental Health and experience in clinical education, supervision, and workforce development
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Commitment to strengths-based and trauma-informed care
  • A values-led approach aligned with person-centred and culturally safe care
  • Valid Driver's Licence and willing to travel across Western Sydney region
