Opportunity overview
Working on the Office portfolio, you will be one of two in the Capital Works team in Vic reporting into the National Lead in Sydney. You will lead high-value building upgrades and gain exposure you won't find in project management consultancy or in some other clientside settings. This is your chance to elevate your influence and expand your strategic thinking. You will work with senior leaders across the business in Funds/Asset/Property and Facilities Management, IT, Finance and Marketing.

What you'll do
You'll manage the scoping, planning, and delivery of an allocation of the VIC, SA & TAS capital works program, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and with minimal impact to tenant partners. This will include overseeing external project managers, consultants and contractors, giving you hands-on leadership experience across all stages of project delivery.
You'll provide strategic technical advice that helps shape commercial decisions, reduce financial risk and add real value. You'll also get involved in major building repositioning projects, sustainability initiatives and tenant issue resolutions, broadening your expertise across multiple facets of project management.
What you'll need
- Project management qualification and/or tertiary qualifications in Building, Engineering, or Architecture.
- At least 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management capacity.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the construction market.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with a focus on customer outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
