What's the role?
An exciting opportunity is available for an Analyst to join the Technology, Chief Transformation Office at Westpac. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical capabilities, keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine willingness to learn. While prior experience in Commercial Contracts or Governance is advantageous.
Key responsibilities of the role include supporting compliance monitoring activities, conducting audits, assisting with regulatory reporting, and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who demonstrates critical thinking, communicates ideas effectively, and contributes positively to the team's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of Compliance activities, including monitoring, reporting, and tracking adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Undertake audits to ensure adherence to Compliance processes, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to provide insights that support risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance processes are followed consistently.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, that will assist in effective decision making.
- Oversee timesheet review and approval, ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Contribute to the development of templates, processes, and guidance materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives and process improvements.

- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and comprehend policy, procedures and standards
