We're seeking a support worker who is compassionate, reliable, and respectful, with strong communication skills and patience. Someone who is adaptable when things change, maintains professionalism and trust, and focuses on empowering the participant so they're always treated with dignity and control.

schedule:

  • Mondays & Tuesdays, mornings (2 hours): assist child to shower, dress, breakfast, and drop to school (school ~10 min from home)
  • Mondays & Tuesdays, afternoons (2 hours): pick up from school, transport home, conduct engaging & learning activities
  • One weekend day (4–5 hours): plan and participate in recreational, developmental or home‐based activities (e.g. park, play centre, arts & crafts
  • Essential Qualities / Skills:

NDIS Screening check- Essential

  • Compassionate, respectful, trustworthy
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong communication (child, family, possibly allied professionals)
  • Patience, flexibility, ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to empower the child; allow choice and input
  • Professionalism in boundaries, confidentiality, safety
  • Car/Licence
  • Police check
  • WWC

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $34.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 – 15 per week
