MSS Security is seeking a security officer to join our team at a prestigious corporate site in Southbank. The role involves a combination of security duties and customer service, including monitoring premises, controlling access, assisting guests, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position requires full-time availability, with a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
  • Monitor and patrol premises to ensure a safe environment.
  • Manage access control and security systems.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies as required, following security protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to ensure that only authorised individuals have access to the premises.
  • Conduct regular security checks, including inspecting security cameras, alarms, and other monitoring equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Valid Victorian Security License
  • Cert II in security operations (or higher)
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience in a concierge security environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
