IB&M provides a full suite of capital raising, transactional, and risk management products and services. We also play a critical role internally, enabling other CBA business units to capture opportunities with business customers.

About Credit Portfolio Management (CPM)

CPM is the engine behind IB&M's balance sheet optimisation. We actively manage capital to improve customer outcomes, strengthen risk management, and drive commercial performance. Our work shapes strategic decisions across IB&M.

What you'll do

  • Shape origination, pricing, and distribution decisions to optimise returns and capital efficiency.

  • Drive growth through forward-looking portfolio strategies.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering curiosity and continuous improvement.

  • Champion cross-functional initiatives that enhance portfolio insights and execution discipline.

  • Represent CPM in senior forums, influencing enterprise-wide capital allocation and risk appetite.

  • Translate complex portfolio dynamics into clear, actionable insights.

  • Stay ahead of market shifts and guide strategic responses.

  • Role model CBA's values and leadership behaviours, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in banking, treasury or risk, with a track record of delivering strategic portfolio outcomes.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into measurable impact.

  • Collaborative leadership style and ability to build trusted relationships.

  • Background in banking, finance or strategic advisory.
