About The Role

Want to shape the future of security services at Kinetic IT?

This is an exciting opportunity to lead, expand, and manage our Cyber Security Practice. We're looking for a forward-thinking leader to design, grow, and deliver a fully functional and scalable security practice that drives innovation, resilience, and measurable outcomes for our customers.

As Head of Cyber Security Practice, you'll play a pivotal role in defining strategy, building strong partnerships, and embedding high-quality services that align with industry trends and customer/account needs. You will play a key role in bringing current security teams together to operate as one highly functional unit with a focus on contributing successfully to the vision of the security practice and expanding services out to cover the entire Kinetic IT security landscape.

Responsibilities will include:

• Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy with clear services, pricing, and target markets.

• Driving pipeline growth, sales conversion, and new revenue opportunities through partnerships and alliances.

• Positioning the Cyber Practice as an integrated, high-value solution aligned to customer and market demand.

• Building a scalable model across Advisory, Delivery, and Operate services.

• Standardising methods to ensure consistent, high-quality, repeatable outcomes.

• Evolving offerings to meet changing client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

• Acting as executive sponsor for strategic clients, building trust and credibility.

• Ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value and resilience.

• Owning full financial accountability including revenue, margins, utilisation, and cost control.

• Aligning sales, delivery, and operations to maximise profitability and efficiency.

• Building and maintaining strategic alliances with leading vendors and ecosystem partners.

• Strengthening KIT's own security posture and contributing to enterprise risk management.

• Mentoring and developing the cyber team with clear pathways and retention strategies.

What you'll bring to the table:


• Proven track record in cyber security services and consulting leadership.

• Demonstrated success building and scaling cyber security practices with P&L accountability.

• Strong track record in client engagement, sales growth, and business development.

• Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams through integration and transformation.

• Solid understanding of cyber security markets and governance frameworks, positioned in business outcome

terms.

• Industry connections and partnerships within the security sphere.

• Business-related Master's/MBA / cyber security tertiary qualifications highly regarded, with strong grounding in strategy and leadership.

• Proven success in P&L ownership, commercial management, and driving business growth.

• Skilled in developing and executing Go-to-Market strategies aligned to customer demand.

• Experienced in executive stakeholder and board-level engagement.

• Cyber Security Operations Centre experience highly desirable.
