About the role

Are you an automotive industry professional seeking a new career opportunity or are you currently in a auto glass role but wanting more Join our Auto Glass Team as a Windscreen Fitter/Scheduler/Team Leader

In this role, initially, you will provide mobile windscreen and auto glass replacement services and ADAS calibration services to our valued members and customers, ensuring safety and the highest quality standards. Our commitment to safety and excellence sets us apart, making us a market leader in this growing industry. For the first 15 months, you will learn all the processes and procedures of the fitters job, giving you the opportunity to learn, master the job and have hands on experience. After 15 months, you you will then transition into the office, spending the next 3 months learning, scheduling, invoicing and organising the team.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake glass chip repairs
  • Remove damaged windscreens and replace them according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications
  • Learn how to complete windscreen re-calibrations for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Building strong rapport with customers and members
  • Deliver the service in a professional and timely manner
  • Scheduling
  • Invoicing
  • Leading the team

About you:

  • Previous experience within the automotive or trades industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience with repairing and replacing glass is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Previous experience in the auto electrical field is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hold current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
  • Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade
  • Be prepared to take on a leadership role within 18 months
  • Enjoy having a company van to drive to and from work
  • Full time, Monday – Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and 8.00am to 2.00pm on Friday's.
