Vocational Education Trainers needed

Adelaide, South Australia ABC INSTITUTE Full time $31,300 - $45,000 per year

The Australian Business & Culinary Institute (ABC Institute) is a CRICOS-registered provider offering high-quality English and Vocational Education courses to international students in Australia. We are looking for qualified and passionate trainers to deliver courses in the following fields:

1. Trainer – Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess units for the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design.
  • Provide students with skills in design, project planning, and construction standards.
  • Ensure training aligns with industry and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong background in civil engineering, construction design, or infrastructure development. Familiar with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar tools).
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Construction Design or related field.
  • At least 3 year industry experience in civil construction, design, or engineering.
  • Ability to engage international students with technical content.

2. Trainer – Hospitality Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess units for the Cert III in Commercial Cookery, Cert IV in Kitchen Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management and Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
  • Teach practical and theoretical skills aligned with current industry standards.
  • Support students' learning in areas such as leadership, operations, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years recent industry experience in hospitality management or operations.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

3. Trainer – Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess units for the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning).
  • Teach leadership, organizational learning, and strategic management skills.
  • Support students in developing advanced workplace and management capabilities.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Graduate Diploma or higher qualification in Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial/leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational learning and VET compliance.
