Warehouse Storeman

HYDAC, a major multi-national hydraulic components & systems manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and ambitious Storeman to join our Melbourne warehouse.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Your main duties and responsibilities will be to undertake various warehousing activities including assembly, lifting up to 15kg, pick/packing orders, receive/dispatch, loading/unloading, forklift driving and other general warehousing tasks. You will be working within a clean, modern and excellent warehouse environment, providing you with the opportunity to use the latest equipment and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift License – backed up with demonstrable forklift driving experience
• RF scanning experience would be beneficial
• Stock Picker license (LO) would be an advantage
• A good level of mechanical aptitude

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

• Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• High attention to detail
• Can-do positive attitude
• Reliability with a good work ethic and organizational skills
• Committed to ensure that tasks are followed through and completed efficiently
• Willingness to be "hands on" and fully involved in the production process as required

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial
