We are paying above the standard Storeman salary as we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Storeperson who is an organised, focused person with great attention to detail who carries out duties accurately. A great attitude and approachable nature will be highly regarded along with the ability to work unsupervised. You must be physically fit as there is regular lifting.

**Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Coordinating stock and inventory to ensure the warehouse has sufficient materials available for our trades
- Work together with our trades by locating and loading materials for their daily runs and ensuring materials are replenished for the following morning
- Accepting deliveries, receipting, unpacking, sorting and checking goods received for quality, quantity, type or size, securing proof of deliveries
- Maintaining the efficiency of the warehouse such as fast moving consumer goods, rubbish removal, clearing of hazards, clean up, creating room and labelling all materials
- Operating forklift to move crates, cartons and palletised goods
- Administering the placement of stock in the warehouse
- Liaising with the office and trades staff
- Data entry by ensuring delivery dockets and purchase orders are matched and uploaded to Aroflo
- Approving purchase orders on Aroflo that have been delivered and following up when required
- Managing an effective vehicle maintenance system for tyre changing and vehicle maintenance
- Fortnightly reporting on warehouse activities by managing the stocktake report
- Meeting tradesmen onsite for 2 man lift jobs when required
- Dropping off and picking up materials from suppliers

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years as a Storeman
- Hold a forklift license
- Have excellent numeracy, literacy and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects
- A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures
- A good team player
- Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer savvy
- Proven stock management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Take ownership of their role
