Join our Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care Team as an AIN

Are you passionate about providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients? As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you'll play a vital role supporting Enrolled and Registered Nurses in delivering exceptional general patient care. Working closely within a dedicated care team, you'll assist with basic nursing duties that directly impact patient wellbeing — duties that ensure comfort, safety, and positive outcomes.

Under the supervision and guidance of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, your work will be integral to implementing care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Whether it's helping with daily living activities or offering emotional support, you'll be a key player in fostering a respectful, communicative, and compassionate environment.

About you:

• Enrolled as a student in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program, or holding a Certificate III or IV in a health-related discipline such as Aged Care or Health Services Assistance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven commitment to providing person-centred care that respects diversity, ethical conduct, and workplace safety.
• Experience delivering high-quality, safe nursing care aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Care Standards.
• Strong understanding of the Assistant in Nursing role, relevant healthcare legislation, and quality management principles.
