Cobbold Gorge Tours Pty Ltd

Cobbold Gorge Tours is seeking an experienced Daily Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our remote property. This exciting live-in, full-time role offers the opportunity to manage accommodation, food & beverage, guided tours, and guest services in one of Australia's most unique and beautiful locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring high standards in all areas (accommodation, F&B, tours, guest services)
  • Recruit, train, and manage a small, dedicated team across various departments
  • Drive guest satisfaction and create memorable experiences
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Work within budgets to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and tour operators
  • Provide regular reports to the owners and contribute to broader business goals

Skills & Experience:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience managing hospitality or tourism operations, ideally in remote or regional settings
  • Is competent with Newbook for managing reservations and activities
  • Can effectively roster and lead small teams across different departments
  • Is comfortable living and working in a remote location for extended periods
  • Has strong organisational skills, resilience, and a commercial mindset
  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and enhancing the guest experience

Important Notes:

  • This is a semi-remote role, with onsite living at Cobbold Gorge.
  • The role includes physical tasks such as lifting (up to 20kg), squatting, kneeling, and manual handling
  • Experience with working with machinery is desirable but not essential.
