As an Operations Manager (AVM), you'll take the lead in the day-to-day running of our vibrant pub and entertainment venue. This hands-on role is all about being on the floor, driving service, leading the team, and creating unforgettable guest experiences across our bar, restaurant, and entertainment areas.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with Impact: Oversee the daily operations of our venue, ensuring that every aspect of service—whether in the bar, restaurant, or gaming room – is of the highest standard.
  • Inspire and Motivate Your Team: Manage, mentor, and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional service.
  • Enhance Guest Experiences: Be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that all their needs are met and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and inventory management while keeping an eye on budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe, welcoming environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and venue policies.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven leader with previous AVM or hospitality management experience.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, close-knit team environment.
  • A focus in Front-of-house – this role is hands-on, not office-based.
  • Availability to work night shifts, with a split of 1-2 day shifts per week.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle problems on the spot.
  • A solid understanding of hospitality regulations, financial management, and best practices.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • RMLV: Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Approved Manager's License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring the legal operation of the venue.
  • RSA: Essential for serving alcohol responsibly.
  • RSG: Required to oversee gambling activities.
  • CLO Certification: Important for managing customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
