We are conveniently located just off the M1, in Alberton QLD.

The successful applicant for this role would be looking for a long-term position, have a good work ethic, good attention to detail and a keen attitude to learn. Some computer skills would be an advantage however on-site training will be available. We are currently looking for the following attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years experience - Required;
  • Hold High Risk forklift license - Required;
  • Physically fit to lift metal sheets / parts (20KG) - Required;
  • Ability to daily commute Required;
  • Experience on a 13T Forklift or above - Required;
  • Plateline Operation and Basic Mechanical Experience - Highly Regarded, however we are happy to train the right person;
  • Computer skills - Advantageous;
  • Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Report to the Plateline Manager regarding the daily schedule.
  • Complete prestart checklist for the Forklift
  • Help operator with the line (stacker)
  • Let packs out from stacker, strap them, and stack them in the rack.
  • Load and unload truck.
  • Operate the 13T Forklift and move stock coils around as required
  • Learn aspects of plateline operations, including but not limited to complex machinery operations.
