AWS Customs & Forwarding is a small, family-owned business providing reliable customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and warehouse & distribution services. We pride ourselves on our friendly, flexible team culture, attention to detail, and personalised service for our clients.

We are currently looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team in a part-time, job-share capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and wants to be part of a supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • General administrative support: answering phones, managing emails, and client correspondence
  • Data entry for new jobs and ongoing records maintenance
  • Invoicing customs jobs and supporting debtor/creditor accounts
  • Monthly client reporting and invoicing for warehouse/distribution services
  • Coordinating with warehouse team, managing warehouse client communication
  • Filing, scanning, mail collection and dispatch, and stationery control
  • Daily and monthly warehouse stocktake
  • Keeping the office tidy (yes, we all pitch in—cleaners help too)
About You
  • Prior office administration experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a bonus—but not essential
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential); CyberFreight experience a plus
  • Familiarity with warehousing systems or logistics workflows preferred
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, reliable, flexible, and happy to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A good sense of humour and willingness to be part of a collaborative, team-first culture
  • Own transport and current NSW Driver's Licence preferred
