You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals, including Psychologists, Counsellors, Behavioural Therapists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists. This role reports directly to our General Manager, is supported by a Team of Discipline Managers, Human Resources and will lead a well-established team of Speech Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Speech Pathologists that range from New Graduates to 3+ years experience, across both clinic locations (Hamilton and Rutherford).
- Provide peer support to team members within allocated Peer Support/PD time.
- Guide clinicians in sourcing the support and external supervision they require in their professional development
- Facilitate and manage team meetings, case discussions, and reflective practice sessions.
- Monitor caseload management, productivity, and assist with client allocation processes.
- Plan and manage professional development day/s when required
- Delegate tasks to team when appropriate and required
- Complete staff appraisal 6 monthly
- Assist Management with Performance Management processes e.g Dress Code, Leave Policy and Procedures, Code of Conduct.
- Maintain a reduced clinical caseload with a focus on complex or high-priority cases.
- Promote evidence-based practice across the team, including the implementation of structured therapy approaches (e.g., HANEN, Sounds-Write, DIR Floortime, AAC, etc.).
- Oversee the delivery of group programs to ensure clinicians have the required training for the delivery of the program.
- Ensure culturally safe, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
- Educate and empower families, caregivers, and educators to support therapy outcomes in daily life
- Participate in regular case reviews, multidisciplinary meetings, and ongoing team collaboration
- Maintain accurate clinical notes aligned with professional standards
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practice
What We're Looking For:
- SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist for 3 or more years
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Management role
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
- Strong knowledge of NDIS, disability, and paediatric care
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A commitment to person-centred, holistic care
Essentials:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Clearance
- Current Driver Licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- First Aid & Mental Health First Aid Certification
- Recognised qualification/s in Speech Pathology
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Ability to work our clinic hours 8am-5pm

The salary range for this position is
$90,000-$110,000
per year plus superannuation.
