Early Childhood Educator

Dandenong Day Nursery is looking for Diploma Qualified staff members for full time - 38 hours per week,(opportunity for a 9 day fortnight) and permanent part time positions. We are a community based, not for profit 54 place centre that has been established since 1976.
Applicants should be able to work with children aged 0-6 years and have a good understanding of contemporary theories, individual learning styles and children's development. Applicants will be expected to document children's learning and should be confident with all aspects of the learning cycle. Applicants should be familiar with the Early Learning Frameworks and have good written and communication skills. Applicants will be required to work in the rooms and will be part of a multicultural team that respects individual differences and is inclusive of all abilities.
Applicants should only apply if they are available to work across the hours of 6.45 am and 6.10 pm as shifts run across the opening and closing hours.
Applicants should have a valid WWCC and 6 month current police check
Applicants should have current first aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $33.96 – $46.29 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
