We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Anderson Road Child Care Centre. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young children, have a deep understanding of child development, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with children and families, and promote a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, and use this information to inform program planning and individualized learning plans
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to create a safe and stimulating learning Provide ongoing support and feedback to children, and assess their progress against developmental milestones
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports
  • Comply with all relevant legislative requirements and organizational policies and procedures
  • Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Cert III or Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work independently
  • Passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care
