Health & Safety Risk Coordinator – Parklife Metro JV (Orchard Hills)

About Us:

The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney's most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport line. Our consortium brings together industry leaders in design, construction, and operations to deliver safe, sustainable, and innovative infrastructure for generations to come.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Risk Coordinator to join our team at Orchard Hills. In this role, you will support the project's health and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations while promoting a strong safety-first culture across site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain the Health & Safety risk registers across the project.
  • Facilitate audits including uploading evidence and closing out actions.
  • Maintain a calendar of H&S risk assessment workshops at both project & site level.
  • Assist in the identification, assessment, and management of workplace risks and hazards.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of H&S procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure alignment with legislative and JV requirements.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records to support ongoing compliance and performance monitoring.

About You:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a construction or infrastructure environment, preferably within rail or civil projects.
  • Strong understanding of risk management processes and WHS legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • White Card required.
