Yarra City Council is seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Engagement Lead to join our Digital and Technology Services team. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation, foster innovation, and deliver outstanding IT solutions that support our vibrant, diverse community.

About the Role

As Senior Engagement Lead, you will:

• Act as the strategic link between business and technology, ensuring IT solutions drive organisational growth and success.
• Lead and manage relationships with business leaders, internal teams, and external partners.
• Oversee a variety of IT projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery aligned with business needs.
• Champion service excellence, continuous improvement, and agile ways of working.
• Provide expert advice on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Manage budgets, risks, and vendor relationships to optimise service delivery.

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in ITIL/ITSM processes and driving service initiatives.
• Proven track record in project management, organisational change, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and advocate for customer-centric IT initiatives.
• Experience in local government or complex organisational environments is highly regarded.
