  • Support the development and progression of swimmers in line with club goals.

Your Role

As our Head Coach, you'll be at the heart of our club, responsible for:

  • Designing Our Future: Creating and putting into action SMART training plans that help swimmers develop over the long term, from beginners to elite athletes.
  • Connecting with the Sport: Staying in touch with Swimming Victoria, Swimming Australia, and other key partners.
  • Being a Club Champion: Being a visible, friendly, and motivating presence at the pool and within our community.

About You

  • Current Swimming Australia Coach Accreditation
  • At least five years of coaching experience (including state/national level)
  • A strong understanding of athlete development and talent pathways
  • Experience leading a coaching team and building positive culture
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A passion for coaching, wellbeing, and community sport
  • Current Working with Children Check, CPR and First Aid
  • A current driver's licence and legal right to work in Australia

  • Performance Coach Accreditation
  • Strength & Conditioning qualifications

  • Ongoing professional development
  • Supportive club culture with a strong community focus

  • Structured coaching pathway with direct access to our feeder swim schools, ensuring a steady stream of talent
  • Dedicated administrative and business support for scheduling, communications and event planning
  • Partnership with local gyms, giving you seamless access to their facilities and hands-on support from certified fitness staff.
