Looking for school hours in a professional medical setting? We're hiring a Telephonist…

We are seeking a friendly and professional Telephonist to join our busy gastroenterology clinic in Maroochydore. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive healthcare environment and is looking for flexible, family-friendly hours.

About the role:

  • Answering and dealing with incoming calls with warmth and professionalism
  • Assisting patients with appointment enquiries and general information
  • Managing patient bookings, including scheduling, rescheduling and confirming procedures and consultations
  • Liaising with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth communication
  • Managing messages and follow-ups in a timely and accurate manner

Hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • 9:00am – 3:00pm (school hours)

About you:

  • Clear, polite, and confident phone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment is a must
  • Previous medical or reception experience, especially in medical bookings or patient procedures, is an advantage but not essential
