About the role:

Work within a high-performance, multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and translate radiopharmaceuticals for manufacturing.

This role would be ideal for an established leader in radiochemistry, global SME with radioisotope separation, production and processing experience.

Duties will include:

• Lead a small team of R&D scientists to identify and develop new separation strategies to purify Th-228 used to support the production of clinical and research radiopharmaceuticals
• Provide scientific and technical expertise to support the growth of the Pb-212 production program, from Method development on the purification and handling of Th-228, automation translation, scaling production, and GMP-compliant manufacturing.
• Assist in developing chemical, radiochemical and radionuclide characterisation methods.
• Act as subject matter expert on methods that have been translated to production methods.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Management, Operations and Engineering identifying opportunities to optimise production processes and enhance efficiency.

Skills & experience:

• BS, MS or PhD in chemistry, or relevant field with analytical or radiochemistry experience
• Experience with radionuclide development and/or production preferred.
• Experience with separations and solid-phase extractions or automation.
• Experience with ICPMS and HPGe Spectrometry or like methods
• Experience with alpha/beta/gamma emitting radionuclides preferred.
• Experience in team management/ leadership highly advantageous
• Multi-disciplined radiochemist with GMP experience, preferrable.
• Ability to express technical topics clearly and concisely.
