Legal Secretary – Criminal Law

We currently seek to employ a highly motivated and experienced legal secretary to provide secretarial and administration support.

Duties

  • Answering calls, liaising with clients, courts and barristers
  • Preparing legal correspondence, briefs and documents
  • Opening files, billing, time sheet entry, and filing
  • Diary management
  • Assist with organising events, CLE, travel and accommodation
  • Assist with staff training including inductions and general administration duties

Skills And Experience

  • A minimum of 12 month's experience in Criminal Law
  • Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional manner
  • Ability to work within a team and with Senior Management
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with LexisNexis Affinity is highly desirable
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
