The Role – Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant

Due to ongoing growth in the organisation, we are looking for an Internal Talent Acquisition Consultant to join the BePositive team. You will be responsible for partnering with our leadership team to develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies that align with our business goals and culture. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive end-to-end recruitment while also contributing to broader talent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates through to offer stage and hiring administration.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines across key roles.
  • Create engaging job advertisements and utilise various sourcing channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, etc.).
  • Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and help position BePositive as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team on onboarding, retention, and workforce planning projects.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition, or agency recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience recruiting across a variety of roles and functions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Desired (but not essential):

  • Experience working in healthcare, NDIS, or a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and recruitment compliance.
  • Exposure to workforce planning or diversity hiring initiatives.
  • Qualification in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
