Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will help empower individuals with barriers to employment to gain sustainable work by providing tools and strategies that will assist them in removing their barriers, ultimately providing them with a pathway to sustainable employment.  This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent role or a subcontractor to service our Workforce Australia sites in Adelaide. A full Australian Drivers license is required for this role, to service our customers. We are seeking an experienced person who has a strong interest in assisting clients with returning to the workforce by helping remove non-vocational barriers to employment. You will meet the following key requirements of the role:It is essential that you have a degree-level qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, General Counselling, Social Work or a Registered Psychologist (with AHPRA)Ability to travel between sitesExperience in one-to-one and group counsellingUpdating a database with clinical notes and billingOwn ABN and Professional Indemnity and Professional Insurance if subcontracting vs an employee.Familiar with a fee-for-service basisDesirable - strong case management experience in a working with and counselling the long term unemployed or injury workers depending on the relevant program.Ability to provide a current Working with Children check and agreement to undergo a national Police check.About WISE Employment: Celebrating 30 years in the employment services industry, WISE Employment is a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to providing quality employment, training and support to the disadvantaged members of our community, the long-term unemployed and people with disability.
