Volunteer Board Director – Westside Housing

Westside Housing is a registered community housing provider and charity. Our mission is to ensure people in our community are appropriately housed and connected to opportunities. We deliver affordable, secure homes that support wellbeing, health, and economic stability.

We're known for listening to our customers and expanding our development capacity to build more affordable and social rental homes across South Australia.

The Role

As a Board Director, you'll help shape Westside's strategicdirection, governance, risk management, and performance. You'll contribute to the stewardship of our residential property portfolio and support sustainable growth.

Ideal Candidate


• Strong commercial background, ideally in residential property or legal


• Experience at board or executive management level


• Alignment with Westside's mission, values, and strategic approach


• GAICD qualification preferred

• A commitment to ethical leadership and social responsibility

Commitment


• Up to a 3-year term, with eligibility for two additional terms


• Attendance at 10 board meetings per year, plus sub-committees as required
