Event Coordinator

The role:
The Event Coordinator will provide support to the management team by ensuring that the events are coordinated, and operations are executed seamlessly.
As an Event Coordinator you will:
- Facilitate the coordination of social, corporate events, and weddings.
- Efficient operations management for events, including maintaining suitable levels of
- staff throughout set up, execution, and pack down of events.
- Develop Event Orders, run sheets, floorplans, and all other materials required for
- events.
- Respond promptly to event enquiries
- Conduct site visits with potential clients and follow up with quotes
- Conduct detail meetings clients to plan their events
- Communicate event details to relevant departments
- Working in cohesion with the Event Supervisor to deliver events on the day
- Promptly respond to all client emails and communications
- Collaborate and work in conjunction with key suppliers
- Participating in team meetings and work closely with our existing Events team
To be considered you will have:
- 2+ years' experience coordinating events
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- A passion for events with a can do attitude
- A background in hospitality
This is a full-time role, you must be available and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
