Qualifications & experience

  • Sales ability with a cheerful countenance is necessary as the job role involves counter service and sales.
  • The applicant must be well presented.
  • The applicant must be able to handle and enjoy a fast pace role while being able to maintain very high attention to detail.
  • The applicant requires good computer skills and be a quick learner.
  • The applicant must be reliable, flexible with times and be a helpful, keen team player.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of the role is essential
  • If you work well, are accurate & are a reliable worker, you most likely will be offered a full time role
  • Potential for the role to develop into an on road sales

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate well and politely to customers at all times
  • Counter sales and customer service.
  • Communicate to customers by phone and email.
  • Be able to quote customers on different product options
  • Picking and checking orders placed by customers
  • Enter sales orders and invoice sales orders
  • Competent computer skills and ability to learn software.
  • Lifting and carrying cartons
  • Available to work up to 38 hours, Monday to Friday
