The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant (2+ years) to step into a rewarding, hands-on role. Working directly with the Managing Partner and Senior Associate, you'll provide vital support across complex and meaningful family law matters, managing files from initial instruction through to finalisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing correspondence, court documents, and briefs
  • Liaising directly with clients, counsel, and other professionals
  • Managing diaries, file organisation, and key deadlines
  • Providing proactive support in case preparation and client management

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a boutique environment and enjoys being part of an in-office team that values professionalism, collaboration, and fun.

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Family Law Legal Assistant
  • Ability to devote a minimum of 4 years to this role
  • Strong file management, drafting, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • A proactive, dependable, and detail-focused approach
  • A preference for working closely with your team in-office
