We're expanding our service team and seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and reliable Electronic Security Service Technician (Commissioner) to play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. If you're passionate about delivering first-class service, solving complex issues on the first visit, and building long-term client relationships, this is your opportunity to grow with a supportive and inclusive team.

The Role Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be a customer-facing ambassador for Secure People, attending scheduled service requests, diagnosing faults, and rectifying issues efficiently while adhering to SLAs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in integrated electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms, and more) – aiming for first-visit fixes
  • Using electronic test equipment safely and compliantly, completing risk assessments/SWMS, and updating job progress via SimPro
  • Accurately completing job reports, timesheets, and parts returns
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy company vehicle and reporting any site changes or safety concerns promptly
  • Delivering outstanding customer service with a professional image at all times

This is a full-time, permanent role with variety. No two days are the same

About You

You're a proven professional with a strong track record in electronic security and a commitment to doing the job right, every time.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Minimum 3+ years as a technician in the electronic security industry
  • Hands-on experience with multiple integrated security systems
  • Exceptional communication, organisational skills, and ability to thrive under pressure
  • High attention to detail, with a trustworthy and reliable approach to client interactions and responsibilities
  • Experience with SimPro (highly regarded)
  • Valid Security Licence, Driver's Licence, White Card, and Cabling Registration Certificate
