Apprentice – Electrical – Parramatta Light Rail

·      Exposure to rail technologies and operational systems

The Role

Parramatta Light Rail is offering an exciting internal opportunity to join our Asset Maintenance Apprenticeship Program. We're looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, grow, and be part of something unique within our Infrastructure team.

As an apprentice, you will:

-Undertake formal studies with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to obtain your Certificate III Electrotechnology

Gain valuable, hands-on experience through on-the-job training

Work alongside and learn directly from our skilled Assets Team

This program will give you exposure to the maintenance of our infrastructure and the chance to contribute to the safe and reliable operation of the light rail network. On successful completion, you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification issued by an RTO.

• Have a passion for developing new skills and a genuine interest in the electrical trade
• Enjoy hands-on, practical work and applying classroom learning in real-world situations
• Bring strong communication skills and the ability to manage time, balance priorities, and work independently when needed
• Show commitment to structured learning and personal growth
