About The Role
As Director of Student Life, you will be responsible for strategically leading all aspects of student life beyond the classroom. You will ensure that co-curricular programs, student leadership, wellbeing initiatives, and community engagement are not only supported but prioritised — forming an integral part of our mission to deliver a holistic educational experience that empowers every student to thrive in their future.

- Develop a whole-school roadmap for student awards and recognition aligned with co-curricular achievements.
- Support the successful transition and integration of local and international boarding students and their families into the school community.
- Assist the Head of Boarding in staff rostering and development to maintain a high-quality, supportive residential environment.
- Oversee the Health and Wellbeing team (nurses, psychologists, counsellors) to ensure coordinated and high-impact student care.
- Explore and implement additional wellbeing initiatives that support student success beyond the classroom.
- Review and develop afterschool and holiday programs to support students in Years 2-12, including Boarding students.
- Investigate the introduction of a Year 13 model, including cadetship and alumni engagement opportunities to enrich the school environment.
About You:
You are a visionary and strategic leader with a passion for holistic education. You bring experience in student development, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead teams across diverse areas of school life. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven to create meaningful, future-focused experiences for students beyond the classroom.
- Thinks strategically and creatively, able to envision the future of student life and develop practical plans that bring that vision to reality with clarity and impact.
- Builds strong, trusting relationships by demonstrating empathy, authenticity, and active listening, ensuring students, staff, and families feel genuinely supported and valued.
- Thrives in collaborative environments, fostering teamwork across diverse groups and departments, and encouraging open communication to achieve shared goals.
